It's New Year's Eve and daddy had a swollen eye again, exactly one year ago daddy had it when we were in Bangkok doing the countdown. This year I did my countdown at Patong Beach in Phuket, which was crowded with people, but could have been more if not because of the Bangkok Airport closure. Anyway, the fireworks are pretty good since most of the hotels along Patong were putting up fireworks.
We did some sightseeing earlier in the day before going to Patong for the countdown, first stop was the Big Buddha was just open, then to Phuket Aquarium and daddy wanted to have some abalone but unfortunately we ran out of time since we needed to meet up with Aunty Yam at Talang (about 45mins away from Phuket Town).
After we met Aunty Yam at her home, daddy drove to meet up with Mommy's friend, Aunty Toy and Uncle Tor for dinner at Rawai Beach. We were suppose to drive up to Promthep Cape but the traffic was really bad so instead we drove straight to the restaurant for dinner.
We then drove to Patong Beach for 2009 countdown! Check out the fireworks and wishing balloons, and guess what, daddy brought the video camera with the SD card in it!

I was there too watching Andaman fireworks and doing some dance afterward. Your photos here are all lovely. :)
