Arrived In Lima

I have just arrive in Lima about 3hours ago after flying for about 31 hours from Kuala Lumpur. I was fine except the Cape Town to Buenos Aires sector which was a little tough. Most of the crew were not really friendly except for the first sector, Kuala Lumpur to Johannesburg, I have to say my biggest thank you to Auntie Joanne May Shan, for making my first 10hour flight a memorable one! Anyway I arrive safely and will be touring Lima tomorrow before leaving for Machu Picchu on Friday.

We made 3 stopover, First at Johannesburg (OR Tambo International Airport) which was boring since most of the shops were still close when I got here. It was a 2 hours stopover.

Then it was Cape Town (Cape Town International Airport), I did not manage to disembark as it was raining and it would be too difficult to the transit passenger to aboard again since the transit was only about an hour.

Then after 27 hours of flying, I finally arrived in South America, Buenos Aires (Ministro Pistarini International Airport), with a 5 hours transit time. Daddy wanted to take a taxi to some shopping mall but there isn't any within at less 30km from the airport so instead, I had my "snack" at a cafe in the airport. There are 2 terminal in this airport and our gate is located at the last gate (13) of Terminal B, a very very long walk, luckily I was in a stroller!

The flight to Lima was pleasant in LAN Peru LP 428 departing at 2010hrs arriving in Lima at 2255hrs. Luckily, daddy managed to secure a row of 3 seats in the centre so I could sleep in my own centre seat! This flight was 5 hours and I slept almost throughout the flight without any problem.

The first impression of Lima! Nice airport but the officers are not familiar with neither Malaysian or Thai nationals as they needed to check if we need a visa upon arrival or not! I got in with a stamp on my passport without any problem but daddy is worried that the pick-up did not arrive since daddy wasn't sure if the hostal got the flight details or not. Anyway the driver was there waiting for daddy's name on the name board and we arrive in the hostal 30mins before midnight along the Pacific Ocean.
